Overview
Rotary Club of Baneshwor successfully conducted a Road Safety & Traffic Awareness Program in collaboration with its youth arms, promoting responsible road behavior and civic awareness among students and community members. The event took place at Rehdon College and School, Samakhusi.

- Students: 250 (Grade 10 and 12)
- Teachers & Staff: 5
- The primary beneficiaries were youth—future drivers and pedestrians—making the session highly relevant and impactful.

The active involvement of our youth partners made the event vibrant and collaborative.
Program Highlights
The program opened with a warm welcome by Vice President Rtn. Puspa Ram KC, who introduced our esteemed guest speaker, Mr. Sitaram Hatthechu from Lalitpur Metropolitan City Police.
Mr. Hatthechu delivered a compelling 40-minute video presentation that illustrated the dangers of traffic rule violations and emphasized the importance of road safety. He then engaged students in an interactive session, sharing real-life experiences that powerfully underscored his message.
The presence of Rtn. Nugal Vaidya, Chair of the Road Safety Committee, further energized the event. He brought traffic safety stickers, which were distributed among the students and staff to display on their vehicles—serving as daily reminders of safe practices.
Closing
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Rotaractor Sandesh Tuladhar, recognizing the speaker, participants, and organizing team.
