Scholarships Program 2018-19

We have been providing scholarships to 25 girls students of Ananda Bhairav School Moolpani since last few years. This is a continuous project. This year also we provided Rs. 200,000.00 of scholarship to girls students of Ananda Bhairab School. Rs. 100,000.00 was donated in the beginning of the year and additional Rs. 100,000.00 on December 2018.
Shree Tansindu Secondary School Project

Washrooms under WINS

International Partner in Global Grant Project: We served as International partner of a global grant project “Washrooms under WINS target challenge” at SNBGBHSS, Cherthala, South India. The total budget of the project was US$ 59,000.00.
Ambulance Donation

RC Baneshwor received a Tata Sumo 4wd ambulance from Embassy of India, Lazimpat on the occasion of Republic day of India on February 26, 2014 and the club donated the ambulance to New Pariwartan Yuwa Club, Nuwakot, a registered NGO. The New Pariwartan Yuwa Club targets to serve more than 30000 community people of 8 villages of Nuwakot District.
No Horn Campaign in Kathmandu

RCB was one of the Rotary Clubs who initiated No Horn Campaign in Kathmandu. The main purpose of this campaign was to stop unnecessary honking by vehicles and also to reduce the noise pollution. The “No Horn” regulation of the Kathmandu Metropolitan Traffic Police Department and the Kathmandu Metropolitan City came into effect on 14th April 2017.
Stop Cancer Awareness Campaigns

Stop Cancer Awareness Campaign is an upcoming project of RCB. These campaigns will be designed to help educate the public about specific preventable cancers. These campaigns will be organized by collaborating with Swarnim and Shreejan Foundation and medical institutions. The targeted region will be the rural areas of Makawanpur District.
Dental Campaign in Mulpani

Rotary club of Baneshwor has been organizing dental campaign every year to provide free dental check up and treatment. This year RC Baneshwor organized a dental campaign by collaborating with Dental Samaj, Jawalakhel on June 1, 2018 at Ananda Bhairav Secondary School, Mulpani. More than 200 students and their family members were provided with on the spot dental check up and treatment.
Scholarship to students

Rotary club of Baneshwor has been providing scholarship to students of Anand Bhairav Secondary School, Mulpani since last few years. On June 1, 2018 President (2017-18) of RC Baneshwor Rtn. Deepak Thapa handed over a cheque of Rs. 150,000 to the Principal of Ananda Bhairav Secondary School. This money will be used to sponsor the needy students for their education.
