Tree Plantation Balthali, Kavre

On 20th August 2024, the Rotary Club of Baneshwor, in collaboration with Zone 4, organized a meaningful plantation program at Balthali, Kavre. Building on their earlier efforts in Tokha, this initiative aimed to promote Rotary’s commitment to environmental sustainability. Club members and local residents participated actively, planting native species that support the local ecosystem and require minimal maintenance. The program encouraged community ownership for long-term care of the plants, ensuring lasting impact. By fostering awareness and responsibility towards nature, the event contributed to Rotary’s focus area of supporting the environment and building a greener, healthier future for all.
